PROGRAM INFORMATION:
Youth Track & Field is offered for boys and girls in grades K-6th. We will offer: sprint, distance, jumps, and throwing. Each meet is different in what events they offer. All meet flyers will be posted to the Ellsworth Recreation Department Facebook page.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Registration fee is $50.00 for new athletes who did not compete in 2025 and $35.00 for any returning athletes that registered in 2025. This is to cover the cost for new uniform tops. Registrations will be accepted after the registration deadline if participant numbers are low. A $5.00 late fee will be charged. Registration Deadline: Friday, February 20th for online forms and paper forms.

PRACTICE TIMES:
Practices will start in March after USD 327 Spring Break. Times and days will be determined during the coaches meeting and will be set for the remainder of the season. All practices will be held in the evenings, during the week. All times will be scheduled through the Ellsworth Recreation Director.

TRACK MEETS:
Track & Field is different compared to other recreational programs. There will be a list of meets you can register for. There will be designated "team" meets where coaches will be present for and there will be "optional" meets. Athletes can pick and choose which meets and how many meets they attend. Meets will be registered by the individual athletes, the Rec and coaches will not register athletes. Each meet requires a registration form as well as payment. Most meets cost between $15-$20 per athlete.

EQUIPMENT:
Teams will be provided with track uniform tops. Athletes will need tennis shoes and a water bottle.
