Privacy Policy Scope

This Privacy Policy Statement applies to Municipal One LLC's ("Municipal One") sites and services ("Services").  The third party organization that owns and/or operates the site or third party organization that uses Municipal One Services may have their own privacy policy that is independent to Municipal One Privacy Policy.  Any third party organization Privacy Policy is independent and shall have no affect on Municipal One' privacy policy. 

Disclosure:

We store your personal information on computers located in data centers in the United States and other countries.  By using our services you agree to the transfer of personal information among these computers.  

Notice to Children Under the Age of 13 and their Parents or Legal Guardians:

IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 13 AND WOULD LIKE TO CONTACT US OR PARTICIPATE IN OUR SERVICES PLEASE DO SO THROUGH YOUR PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIANS. Municipal One LLC DOES NOT KNOWINGLY COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13. IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 13, DO NOT SEND US ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Personal Information We Collect

Municipal One collects data to operate effectively and provide you the best experiences with our services.  You provide some of this data directly, such as when you create an account, complete a form, register for a class, activity or sport, reserve a facility, sign up for e-notifications, or search a site.  This information can include, but is not limited to, your name, your children's names, email address, your birth date, your children's birth dates, phone numbers, your children's current grade and age.  We also collect other personal information you provide us through our services.   We get other data by recording how you interact with our services by using technologies like cookies, receiving error reports and/or usage data including data from third parties including Google.  

How We Use Personal Information

Municipal One uses the data we collect to provide you the services we offer including completing the transaction you have requested and providing customer support.  For these purposes it will be necessary to disclose information to Municipal One employees, contractors and third-party companies who have a need to know.  We also may use the data to improve and personalize your experience, communicate with you about your account, security, and product information.  Financial Information such as credit card number and CVC numbers will not be stored or saved on our servers.  

Reasons We Share Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with your consent or as necessary to complete any transaction or provide any service you have requested or authorized. This includes submitting payment to third-party sites/processors for the purposes of paying for activities, facilities, utility bills, or any other payment services we offer. We also share data with the third party organization of the site owner or operator; when required by law or to respond to legal process; to protect our customers; to protect lives; to maintain the security of our services; and to protect the rights or property of Municipal One.

Protection of Person Information

No data transmission or network storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We take reasonable steps to protect all Personal Information. We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to safeguard the account registration process and sign-up information. Other security safeguards include but are not limited to data encryption, firewalls, and physical access controls to buildings and files. You acknowledge that even with these safegaurds that there is an inherent risk when using the internet that unauthorized third-parties may gain access to your Personal Information submitted through our services. Municipal One services may not be HIPPA compliant and you should not submit medical information or social security numbers through our services even if a third-party is requesting such information. Once your personal information is submitted to a third-party operator we assume no responsibility to how that third-party handles your Personal Information.

Third Parties

Third party organizations that use Municipal One to make their facilities, activities and other services and products available to you may have their own Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, refund policy, or other policies and terms ("Third Party Terms"). Third Party Terms are a contract between you and that third party. Third party Terms do not affect or alter this Agreement.

Modifications to the Privacy Policy

Municipal One may modify this Privacy Policy Statement at anytime, at its discretion.  Modifications are effective upon being posted here.  You are responsible for revisiting this Privacy Policy Statement periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes.
